Training for Employment in the Arts & Media (TEAM)

 

With Yonkers becoming a production hub for film and television, YoFi has recognized the need for productions to hire from a local labor pool of well trained and highly qualified staff and crew from the community.

 

This new education program provides an opportunity for Westchester residents from 18 to 28 years old to get their foot in the door of the dynamic world of film, television and live theater by not only learning the specific knowledge required to join the entertainment industry in an entry-level position, but also the general job and life skills they’ll need to find success in any field. After completing the program, we'll continue to help graduates from each cohort with mentorship and job placement. 

 

Applications will be available soon. No previous production experience is required, but applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or college degree to apply. We are trying to make the program affordable for everyone, and with your help, free to as many students as possible.
